If you can do it in your sleep, why not while you’re awake?
I know a person in real life who, when trying to learn to speak French, had a dream wear they talked to a person speaking flawless French. There’s an artist who can’t draw to save his life, but does so in his sleep, and does so AWESOMELY. It’s all in the subconscious.
You know there’s a world of difference between dreaming of doing something and actually doing it? I mean I dream I throw stuff twice my weight all the time but if I actually tried to do it I know I’d just end up hurting myself.
But that’s physical, not mental. I can imagine myself picking up a car, but I can’t imagine someone speaking French because I can’t speak French myself.
I am a collector of fine hats. I loooove hats. Like a lot. I have spent hundreds of dollars on hats. I own roughly fifty different kinds. A lot of British cabby caps and fedoras, a top hat, a bowler hat, a mini bowler hat, a hat made out of an old tent, a Vietnamese fieldworkers hat, an antique beaver pelt hat, my grandfathers train conductor’s hat, a furry hat with horns, a super stinky tribal hat, a squid hat, a Viking hat with a beard attached, a knight hat with a beard attached, a Sasquatch hat, a rainbow pointy hat, a floppy chef hat, a GIANT floppy tweed cap, a beleclave, Mountie hat, military cap, and a couple cowboy hats. I could go on and on forever, but this comment is long enough as it is. HAAAATS!
I need help.
